We had a jobsite in August located in downtown Toronto along Queen Street west which had plaster and debris on brick. This was an old building where the old plaster wall had been removed and the client wanted to maintain the original brick and get it cleaned.
The work that was delivered exceeded my expectations and was done very efficiently and professionally. I would very highly recommend Brick Wash to any contractor or owner that is looking to clean old bricks. There were very knowledgeable and passionate about delivering quality.
I was beyond happy with how the project turned out. Excellent work.

I have allowed 3-months for resolution, of which there has been none, but there has been growing frustration.
Issues:
1. Crew trounced through the front garden destroying: Hydrangeas, hostas and our one and only Japanese Maple with chemical burn. Brickwash responded with - “the plants will come back next season.” They had no issue with the awful aesthetic this provided from the curb. We’ll see what happens come 2025.
2.my family and I spent 2.5 hours cleaning our wood door and wood porch from all of the spray and stain that was left behind. We spent $75 on specialty cleaners for this and its not entirely back to pre-Brickwash.
3. The crew horribly stained l, with pink chemical, 6 of our newly constructed interlocking beige brick parking pad. Brickwash’s solution was to remove the bricks themselves and match them for new ones - although I gave the contractor’s name. Almost three months later and a Brickwash employee came by, unannounced, with a crow-bar in hand to remove the bricks from right underneath my parked vehicle. Obviously I was not ok with this.
Ive taken the time to write this after month’s of frustration that should not have happened had a professional crew been used initially, but also due to the fact that I still have no resolution and my frustration has grown.
Did they clean the bricks? Yes. Was it worth it in the end? Absolutely not. I would caution you before making your choice to use a crew from Brickwash.

We used Brickwash to clean the brick on our home. It's about100 years old and has lots of pollution (black coloring) and paint drops from over the years. The team lead by Cam managed to bring the brick back to life and remove all the paint. We decided to clean the brick because we were getting new windows and shutters, and it seemed like the perfect time. We're very happy with the way it turned out. One thing we didn't anticipate was the brick was a little duller than we anticipated, but most likely because of the brick, not the wash. The team was super professional, prompt and answered all of our questions and concerns.

The fireplace in our living room had been stained by soot/smoke and we had tried numerous times with store bought chemicals to remove it - with no luck. Contacted Brickwash after seeing an ad. Simple process and great outcome. Fireplace brick is now completely stain free. Brickwash team arrived, provided furniture covers to keep living room clean and had completed whole cleaning process in just a few hours. Very happy ... thanks Brickwork.
